"so here is a question. Many warlocks have leveled as affliction locks due to the excellent sustainability of the build. I used to be full tier two and all that back when that meant something, now that it doesnt and I rerolled another mage I am interested in finding out what the raiding standards are for mages these days.We are used to making snap decisions about DoTs on the fly and we enjoy the versatility warlocks have with respect to killing stuff: fear-kiting, drain-tanking and so on. Hit Rate Penetration Crit Spell Dmg Mana Health Resistances Attunements Anything will help i am jsut trying to get some ideas on what level I need to acheive before I will be considered raid material.Hence it is understandable if some affliction players complain that the destro playstyle is "boring" or a "no-brainer" - since the active interaction with what's happening on screen is cut down significantly. Thanks all. This thread might be better suited for the mage forum. My guild had a tough time in Magister's Terrace, but I joined and fear-cc'd plus fear-kite and we waltzed through the place (fear only gets adds with inexperienced players). Still...The only complaint I have with the spec is that my DPS starts slowly, then builds to a frenzy. you'll want to get 164 spell hit as fire spec, after that as much haste, dmg and crit as possible, in that order. Penetration is useless for pve.It would be nice if I had a spell that applied all my DoTs at once, because even though most are instant, there's still the global cooldown between each cast. If you're beginning to raid again and not jumping straight into Black Temple mana/hp/resistances are pretty much irrelevant. Blizzard also seems to want most of us to become shadow bolt spammers in the end, as Warlock tier 6 gear favors shadow bolting locks.
wow gold I remember having around 7k of both fully buffed when I started Kara if you want a ball park figure. All attunements have been removed pretty much, so unless you want the Scale of the Sands ring (need to kill Vashj and Kael) you don't need to do any."Why is Blizzard not making gear tailored to our favorite build.

Happy raiding! Thanks, thats helpful." is the question asked by many affliction warlocks. Only thing is did you have an estimate on a good spell dmg.I had planned on switching back sometime, for raiding and such, but just never did. keeping in mind of course having the appropiate other stats aswell. To my surprise I found myself still usually out-damaging everyone in dungeons. is 600-700 what I should be shooting for.Plus it's really valuable to be able to heal myself so well. " "An article has appeared on enfieldindependant.co.uk warning people that World of Warcraft is being cited as the reason for more and more incidents of youths entering rehab. In an interview with Dr Claire Casey, an adolescent psychiatrist who specializes in treating gamers fight addiction to computer games, she reveals that gaming addiction is growing at an alarming rate, with twice as many cases this year as last year.So I kept the spec. She says that most of her cases are males in their late teens/early twenties, who play WoW for up to 12 hours a day and cut off contact with friends and family in the real world while they build up their alter-ego on the computer screen. Dr Casey believes that WoW and other MMOs appeal to people with low confidence, as it gives them the opportunity to gain some sort of fame within the on-line community and create another persona. It is however interesting to note that on the WWS Scoreboard, a neat ranking chart based on raid data pulled from WoW Web Stats, just 10 of 15 top Warlock DPSers are 0/21/40. She also warns that the tempoarary boost this gives people out-weighs the negative impact on their real lives. ""I treated a university student in halls of residence who was so addicted to (multi-player game) World of Warcraft that he refused to eat and just stayed in his room, lost a stone-and-a-half of weight and gave up his studies.Out of the five who aren't destro locks, two are demonology, one is affliction and two have hybrid demo/destro builds - building for Soul Link probably.

wow powerleveling When we picked him up he looked like a crack addict."" She also goes on to say that parents might be to blame by allowing their kids to spend too much time playing the game up in their rooms: ""When the addiction is developing, parents are lulled into a false sense of security because their boy is at home, upstairs in his bedroom on his computer, not out on the streets taking drugs or getting drunk. At the point I'm at now, my DoTs are overkill for even-con mobs so I still waste mana unless fighting elites, but DoTs are cheap, and I can get mana back easily. It builds up gradually over a period of months."" It's a harrowing report which is uncomfortable reading for us WoW players, but should be checked out none the less. ".I may do slightly less damage than a Destlock, but it's not significant. What is significant is how flexible I am now.
wow or Fear-kiting is powerful too, and much easier with good DoTs.
